Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how RoundIQ ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, dashboard, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who we are
RoundIQ is a Counter-Strike 2 demo review, analysis, and collaboration platform for coaches, analysts, and competitive teams. If you have any question regarding this policy, you can reach us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email, display name, profile picture, and a unique Google account identifier.
- Demo files and game data. CS2 .dem files you upload, along with the parsed match data (rounds, positions, economy, events), comments, bookmarks, notes, strategies, lineups, and tags you create.
- FACEIT data. If you connect your FACEIT account or import matches, we receive your FACEIT nickname, identifiers, and the match history you choose to import.
- Team and collaboration data. Team memberships, roles, invitations, shared demos, and any content you exchange with teammates inside the product.
- Billing data. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status, plan, country, and the last four digits of your payment method. Full card details never reach our servers.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from the IP, pages viewed, timestamps, and error logs required to operate and secure the Service.
3. How we use your data
- Provide demo parsing, playback, 2D review, and strat building features.
- Authenticate you, keep your session secure, and prevent abuse.
- Enable team collaboration, sharing, and notifications.
- Process subscriptions, invoices, and enforce plan limits.
- Monitor performance, diagnose bugs, and improve the product.
- Answer support requests and, when relevant, send service-related emails.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your demos or match content to train third-party AI models.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service), your consent (for optional integrations such as FACEIT), our legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement), and compliance with legal obligations (accounting, fraud prevention).
5. Sharing and third-party services
We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service, under contracts that restrict their use of that data:
- Google — authentication (Sign in with Google).
- FACEIT — optional match import (only when you connect it).
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to store demos, parsed data, and run the application.
- Discord — only if you voluntarily join our community server; Discord is not connected to your RoundIQ account.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of RoundIQ, our users, and third parties.
6. Data retention
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- Uploaded demo files are kept according to your plan limits. You can delete them from the dashboard at any time; deleted demos are purged from active systems shortly after and from backups within 30 days.
- Billing records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law (typically up to 10 years).
- Server logs are retained for a short rolling window for security and debugging.
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except for information we must keep to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes.
7. Security
We apply industry-standard measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, isolated environments, and regular patching. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if you suspect a security issue, please contact us immediately.
8. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including countries in the European Union and the United States. When we transfer personal data outside the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can exercise most of these rights directly from your dashboard, or by contacting us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Cookies and local storage
We use two categories of cookies and local storage:
- Strictly necessary. Required to keep you signed in, secure your session, and remember your preferences (theme, filters, layout, keybindings). These do not require consent and cannot be disabled while you use the Service.
- Analytics (optional). With your consent, we load a privacy-friendly Plausible Analytics script that collects aggregated, anonymous usage data. Plausible does not set tracking cookies and does not share data across sites. You can opt in or out from the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, when appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email.
13. Contact
Questions, requests, or concerns about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
